New Farm Yoga Classes
In our Alignment classes, our instructors assist you to reach proper alignment by grasping understated actions. By emphasising the basic structure of poses, which can be modified with props, our aim is to understand the alignment of the body and to gain greater bodily responsiveness, flexibility and stamina.
Ashtanga yoga is smooth, uninterrupted, athletic and demanding - these classes promise that, with continued adherence, a proficiency in attentive nonattachment will be acquired. Attentive nonattachment is a skill which can be beneficial to all aspects of your life.
This fluid form of Vinyasa yoga is challenging yet empowering and seeks a graceful succession of particular asanas synchronised with the beat of your inhalation. Elements of dance and moving meditation are key components in the creative sequences of our Flow classes.
Foundations classes guarantee strength building and improved attentiveness. Our Foundations classes have their roots in the style of Knoff Yoga (an arrangement that joins Iyengar Yoga with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga) and focus on postures, meditation and breathwork.
Hatha simply refers to the practice of physical yoga postures. Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation.

Stretch Therapy is a comprehensive program that includes different stretching techniques, strengthening (particularly at the end range of motion), fascial remodelling, neural re-patterning, and relaxation. With mindful and frequent practice, Stretch Therapy classes will help you to discover and release the lines of tension in your body, move more efficiently, improve your posture and athletic performance and increase your overall flexibility and mobility.
Yin yoga aims to help regulate the flow of energy in the body by targeting the body’s deep connective tissues (as opposed to superficial tissues) and the fascia that covers the body.
Yoga for Lifting is intended to enhance your mobility for the functional movements you require at the gym and in all aspects of life. Improved flexibility in areas such as ankles, hips, hamstrings, shoulders and thoracic spine can lead to deeper squats, faster sprinting, perfecting the Olympic lifts and enhanced performance of daily activities.
